The Foundation was formed on the 12th of June 2023 with the primary objective of the foundation being training and education for early childcare development, societal awareness on dangers of substance abuse, opportunities for social justice for all, championing the circular economy and climate change. All aspects of the foundation are centered around the Built Environment.
Guided by an unwavering commitment to community empowerment, the Black Business Council Built Environment Foundation embarks on a transformative journey going forward. We dedicate ourselves to expanding the horizons of our society, embracing holistic growth. Our mission is to nurture hope and prosperity by fostering four essential pillars:
We envision an augmented Round-Up Programme that not only encourages the public to contribute but also creates a ripple of change. By ’rounding up’ bills at retail stores, we shall harness collective generosity to support underprivileged community organizations.
Recognizing that education is the cornerstone of empowerment, we strive to equip disadvantaged youths with the Early Childhood Development (ECD) skills they need to flourish. Our commitment extends to those who, for various reasons, could not finish their formal education. Through general technical skills development, we aim to provide them with a pathway to success.
At our foundation’s core lies the aspiration to promote the boundless opportunities within the built environment sector. We envision a future where young minds are inspired to view architecture, engineering, and construction not merely as professions but as paths to shaping their dreams and communities.
