Danny Masimene was introduced to the construction industry in 1998 when he started building 3 x classroom blocks as a sole proprietor which later in 2002 was registered as a close corporation. He is currently the Ceo of Bbm Projects ( Pty) Ltd, a construction company in general building and Civil Engineering space that also specializes in structural steelwork, steel canopies, carports, mild steel and stainless steel balustrades, plastered, suspended ceiling and drywall partitioning.

He currently serves as the Deputy President Of the Black Business Council in the Built Environment (BBCBE), which was established in 2007 to serve as a federation for organizations representing black contractors and consultants in the construction industry. He is also the Co-Chair of BBCBE Cidb Subcommittee, the Chairperson of BBCBE Constitutional & Disciplinary Subcommittee and representing the BBCBE at the CIDB National Stakeholders Forum.

He has been an active member of the National Federated Chamber of Commerce and Industry(NAFCOC) for over 18yrs and has served as the 1st Vice President of Limpopo Province. He is one of the founding members of the National African Federated Builders Industry( NAFBI) in Limpopo Province a construction sector within NAFCOC which is now known as Nafcoc Construction(NAFCON). He rose through the ranks serving as the regional secretary and provincial chairperson of NAFCON LIMPOPO, served as a member of Nafcon National Council and ultimately as the National President.

He has travelled extensively internationally both on personal and trade missions.
